Description
Description
This kit will repair your BMW E36 or E46 compact parcel shelf. Kit includes two hooks to repair the straps that connect the parcel shelf to the trunk / boot lid and two brackets for the parcel shelf to rest on when the lid is closed.
Often times these hooks snap or break as the plastic degrades. Instead of replacing the whole parcel shelf for the several hundred dollars BMW asks, just replace the broken parts!
To install the hooks, cut the strap at the base of the existing hook and/or remove the strap from the existing hook. Use a dab of superglue to connect the strap to the replacement hooks. Let dry and install.
