Description
On the E89 Z4's retractable hardtop, the folding-top compartment lid is held by a support that relies on a small plastic insert and with every roof cycle, that insert is the piece that eventually cracks and lets go. The catch: BMW doesn't offer it separately. The only factory fix is the complete support assembly, so one broken insert normally means buying the whole part just to replace the single piece that failed.

This is a faithful reproduction of just that insert. It's modeled on the original to seat into your existing support and restore correct fit and hold without paying for the full assembly.

If you'd rather replace the complete unit, BMW 54377247854 is still available new; but when it's the insert that's gone, this is the part you actually need.
